# 47: Dannon Yogurt Tupperware

You've probably been there before. Reached into the back of your fridge for some Dannon Fat Free Yogurt, popped open the lid and instead of plain, milk cultured by bacteria you find brown subji leftovers that your mother made the night before.

The reasons abound for this. Some see it as a product of convenience. Your mom buys the yogurt to make raita and other dishes so why not reuse the container afterward? A more probable reason is that your mom saves the Tupperware for special occasions like Thanksgiving when Western food like cranberry sauce needs to be preserved.

You can't save cranberry sauce and turkey leftovers in Dannon Yogurt Tupperware. That would be uncivilized.
